misc/ribery_1Eagerly counting the days down until the end of the season, as much as Wenger is denying bringing in any new faces, I am sure most of us have, in the back of our minds, conjured up a transfer list of ones own for the coming season.

wenger_1Watching Monday’s 'pre-season-type' league match between Newcastle and Arsenal, a match where it seems both teams were happy with playing for a point, showed one the lack of urgency in the squad at the moment.

jeanmakoun_1Our season can go either way from here. 3 straight defeats is not good for any side in the Premiership let alone Arsenal. Next up is Newcastle United and to be honest anything other than a defeat will be a good result for us right now.

baptista_2As we approach another trophyless season, I do feel that season 2007/08 should bring some drastic changes along with it. Of course, my opinion would sound far fetched, but that is my opinion anyway. It is all good and well giving the kids time to mature but we should also see that we have some quality not only on the pitch but the bench as well, as most of our rivals have, nowadays.
