The Highbury Library animted promo v5 350x350

Our season can go either way from here. 3 straight defeats is not good for any side in the Premiership let alone Arsenal. Next up is Newcastle United and to be honest anything other than a defeat will be a good result for us right now.

We have 4 home games at least 3 against Man City, Fulham and Bolton that we really should look to win. Then there is the clash against Chelsea on the 6th of May, hopefully by then we would have secured 3rd or 4th place in the table.

A bit of transfer news, well transfer rumour, is that Cameroon International Jean Makoun has said that Arsenal are chasing him. He has claimed that our scouts have been to see him and that Arsene Wenger has spoken to him on the phone. Which seems weird to me, we are known for being very hush hush. If Wenger has confirmed an interest directly to him then I would have thought that we would have told him to shut up about it. Ah well,

Lets see what happens there then.

I think this could be one of his goals. Not 100% sure though as it was a home made video.

Judging by his profile he looks like he is a Gilberto replacement for the longer term.

Jens Lehmann says that he shall be talking to Arsenal soon about a new deal but I have the feeling that he will be off in the Summer.

That's about it about the Arsenal news right now. I hope we can convert some chances against Newcastle. It would be a great feeling to beat them 4-0 and the confidence to go up again. We need something to feel good about again.

His partnership with Mesut Özil, his running from deep and his underrated ball winning ability makes him a ...Read more
