A load of Thierry Henry news has been flying around in the last couple of days the one that read yesterday was a story that Henry had agreed terms with Barcelona and it was just down to Barca to strike a deal with Arsenal football club.
Jerome Anderson came out on Monday evening... well that could be quite an interesting headline in itself. Anyway, Anderson was speaking to Talksport and quoted on Sky Sports news as rubbishing the story and saying stuff like 'I am astonished that people can write this without checking the facts. I am seeking legal advice' I don't know about you but that doesn't sound like the talk of an agent who is intending his client to join that organisation. He also pointed out that Henry will be at Arsenal next season.
So lets hope this puts Arsenal fans minds at rest, until the next made up Barcelona newspaper story comes out at least.
New Polish keeper Lukasz Fabianski fired a warning to Jens Lehmann saying that he is not there to make up the numbers, he wants the number 1 jersey and good luck to him. Jens will really have to pick his game up to what it was 2 seasons ago.
I really don't know what he is like. He looks like a great shot stopper thanks to Youtube. But I want to know what he is like in regards to reliving pressure. David Seaman used to take so much pressure off his back four by coming out and catching the ball from crosses. No matter where the ball was in the box and no matter how many bodies were in the area big Dave would wrap his huge hands around the ball, pull out a cheesy grin and we start another Arsenal attack. Is Fabby that player? We shall see.
There is more talk about takeover shit, I can't be bothered with it all. Unless something happens then I shall ignore it, its boring.
Goodbye Frank Ribery, the freaky looking money grabbing twat decided to join Bayern Munich. Now is it me or did Ribery say something like.. 'I know I am not very excited by a country like Germany' and that he wants to play in the Champions League. Maybe he forgot what he said, it happens to the best of us I guess. The rumours are that the board told Arsene not to sign him because they didn't want gate receipts to go down due to fear, Dein disagreed and was fired. No seriously.
If Arsene did want to sign him then he would have been put off by his price tag ages ago, so I'm sure it wasn't a shock to him.
Florent Malouda is another French winger linked with us, who knows what the truth is. As we all know, 90% of Arsenal transfers are done without the fans, the press and even the tea lady knowing about it so don't stress about lack of signings just yet, the season has just ended.
You may have noticed that there are no pictures on the articles any longer, well this is because I got a telling off for not having a licence to allow me to use the pictures. Well thanks guys, that's very nice of you. I'm just waiting for you to turn around before I put them back on
One more thing before I go, I just wanted to announce that I have brought another Arsenal fan into the world. My son was born on 2nd June. And that sort of explains my lack of writing quantity and quality for that matter. Have a great day all.
