New season brings renewed hope and I'm one of the very few who feels we'll have a very positive end to the season. Remember we have got the best manager in the world and its only him that would have kept us in this position we occupy with little funds he gets every summer.
I admit we had a very poor end to last season because our players heads dropped after that Carling Cup final defeat to Birmingham City.
This season would be very different, the players have experience and have tasted first class heart break, they won't want a repeat of that very ugly episode again. Players like Jack, Ramsey, Gibbs have grown older and are more experienced, their output would definitely increase a notch.
I also admit that we've lost Cesc and Nasri which in turn has taken us two steps backwards but we must also remember we have lost the likes of Vieira, Henry, Pires and Bergkamp and still we remained at the very top of the ladder in the league. Those two going won't take away our will to win but instead push us to achieve great things.
We have had a fairly good summer in terms of new arrivals. Gervinho, Jenkinson, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Ryodinho have all been good signings in my opinion. I know we haven't got that new Centre back we have all been craving for but we have got till Sept 1st to do deals for one and I'm fairly confident we would see at least one or maybe two.
What we lacked last season was pace and now we have got that in abundance. Imagine Theo and Gervinho on both wings. That's a lot of pace to burn and surely defenders would be dreading the day they face both. Also add Ryodinho and Oxlade-Chamberlain. That's options we have got and in my opinion that's some awesome options.
We still need a replacement for Cesc, I know no one in the squad or what Wenger is looking at outside of the squad can replace Cesc but still we need someone who can come in to soften the blow of the impending Cesc's departure. A player like Mata could do a fine job and whispers suggest he is one of the players Wenger is looking at along with Jadson. I don't know a awful lot about Jadson but know he is what makes Shaktar Doneskt thick and he was rated the man of match when they won the Europa league two or three years ago.
The season starts today away at Newcastle and we have an almost fully fit squad to choose from, excited that the months of waiting is finally over. We are The Arsenal and yes we can achieve what almost everybody and even our own fans have written us off from achieving. I believe.

Dear old Arsene will be late for his own funeral, if his family are as good as him at forward planning!
We have know about Toon,Pool and Manure as the first 3 league games for some time now..........so why not wait until we can only play them with hafl a team and then buy all our replacements?
I will now be pleased when Cesc & Nasri are gone, especially Nasri. He has become a money mad mecenary and has shown no loyalty to the man and club that made him. Cesc I understand, he wants home! If Barca had not been such a shitty, low life club of no standards I would have wished him well there. They have shown the world just how 'tapping up' pays.They did when they wanted Henry, Petit and Overmars, then Hleb........why do they never tap up Manures stars????Because Fergie would tell them to shove it in no uncertain terms.
So here we are again with the same crappy defenders who threw away over 14 points last season and the one before and...........so on. We at least have anothe good DM in Frimpong.....we have, at last a winger with speed on the left. We now have a CF who ,until its coached out of him, will go for goal as a first thought and not after 25 passes!
Finally, I think it shows all Gunners just how right we were all along that players we said were not trying and others who were failures for years, have found it difficult to find new clubs. DUHHHHHHHHHH!
Good luck lads, I think you will need it until Arsene gets his finger out and learns how to buy in June not Sept 1st.

When your readin that some fans are hnoping for defeat so they can oust wenger, thats some horrible stuff. Hopefully a win and then the signing of a cesc replacement and left back more than CH and the anti brigade will be onside (cos lets face it thats what there wanting surely when they get it they should be placated.....aye right!)
Come on the lads, lets get tore into those geordie shore bassass!!!!!!
