Ouch!, the Yak attacks.

Relegation beckons... in August!
.
Couple months of good form rewrites history, doesn't it?

Look! There is a gap. Everyone needs to go home now, or so we are told.

What are you saying Jack? Tottenham are about to win the league title.

Aim for the stars Arry, aim for the stars *twitch*

Go on Spuds, shift that power

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! *breathe* HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Hmmm, interesting question. Who are worse Arsenal or Tottenham? Check the table I guess.

Instead of chasing Eden, Spurs should go back for Micky. He talks sense doesn't he?

You hear that guys? No blinking chance.

Bet they had a lovely day in the sunshine. They were so proud of themselves as well. Poor little Spuds.

*Cue collective red faced back tracking*

Selling like hot cakes, I heard.

*Looks all round* Where has that 10 point gap disappeared to?

Will be straight forward now won't it? Oh.

Agreed. It was all about doing things the Spurs way. collapsing when it mattered

The best Tottenham team since the start of the Premier League. Really?

Because saying it, makes it true.

Go on then Tott-inn-ham, it is in your hands. What you gonna do about it?
Oh, I see *Chuckle*
As they say, zee table doesn't tell porkies

Anyone remember those words earlier in the season? It rings a bell for some reason.

I dont give a fuck about the spuds but someone finished 19 points ahead of us that is the real problem.

Great end of season summary, ML. I have still yet to recover from today nervy roller coaster ride. We didn't really play well to our standards again, but I don't really care. We still won and finished ahead of the "Gap-Minders", despite our horrible start and injury-filled season. I need a vacation after all this, and maybe send a big thank you present to Martin Fulop while I am still in the moment, haha. Poor fella had a couple of "Manuel Almunia" special moments.
Can't wait for next season to start already. Now the only thing troubling me is to decide whether to support Chelsea in the Champions League Final or not. I don't want them to win it (I firmly believe classy Arsenal FC should be the first London-based team to win that trophy), but it would be beyond hilarious if Chelsea wins it and effectively knocks Tottenham out of next year's Champions League. So much for the "Gap" heh...!
Hey Spuddies, MIND THE FUCKING TABLE, will you? And also don't forget to pay Jack Wilshere.
Arsenal Forever...

13-May-2012 21:28 | | PeejayGooner - Relieved not rejoicing
So pleased we made 3rd given SUCH a bad season, if ever there was a message to take note of without being further penalised with no CL, this season is it.
Glad we stumbled over the line, but next season I want us to be fighting for 1st on the last day...
Wenger must see what's needed, Money does need to be spent, deadwood got rid of, never say die spirit renewed, art of defending revived...
That, plus a bit of luck, will have me rejoicing I'm sure

Brillant, lovely article. Seeing Adebayor's stupid new hairdo added to the joy of coming 3rd.

14-May-2012 00:29 | | galen - great article.
Is great to finish above tottyshit but we should not be a limited side. If we we want too keep RVP we should be competing with city and United . We should be going to the champions league to win and not see the quater finals as and achievement. If we buy the right players we can make that happen. I read that Hazard to city is done and dusted.

Right. Even better is to start our own developed training school to be sure of young talent instead of buying a team together,

In hard times like in this recession, the people "need something to lift their weary spirits" St Tottenhams Day is such a day! North Londoners in particular must come out to celebrate. And on this auspicious day what a great way to wile away the hours its become. Safe in the knowledge that despite all the problems encountered during our worst season in living memory, our favoured home grown son "Jack" would still be safe to bet all his pocket change, knowing that we'd still have more than enough left in our tank to finish ahead of that unfortunately close local shower otherwise known as the Spuds.
15 straight consecutive Champion League qualifications! Considering the revenue generated is it time to ask the question? Is Le Boss trying to pay for the magnificient Emirates stadium via only this payment system? And how many more CL qualifications will (by themselves) pay for the Emirates out right?

Delhi Metro seems to be a big fan of Arsenal. The announcer reiterates "Please mind the gap", at the approach of every metro station for the disembarking passengers.
Happy St. Totteringham's day

Excellent post, Mean Lean!!
What a crazy season we just had!
Let's us all take a breather and prepare ourselves for what could be potentially a very busy summer.
I predict twitter explosion and annihilation of the "F5" button on all keyboards this summer.

enjoyed that thanx.
and for the spuds that pretend to be gooners repeatedly telling us how far in front the mancs are. maybe if you werent such a shallow glory hunting fanboy you'd know why.
the difference is, you love the superficiality that surrounds trophies. like most mancs
we love football.
