With Alexis Sanchez, Tomas Rosicky, Jack Wilshere, Danny Welbeck and hopefully Francis Coquelin all on the road to recovery, I thought I would try my hand at creating an Arsenal compilation video which you can watch underneath this. I hope it highlights the wealth of quality we have to come back into the squad.

Not all of those will start regularly this season and in Rosicky's case, this is likely to be his last in an Arsenal shirt (sniff sniff) but having these players back will make a huge difference when it comes to making changes from the bench or rotating tired legs, something we simply have not been able to do recently.

While scouring through the Coquelin videos, it struck me just how good that lad is at winning the ball back. We all know this already of course but when you watch his highlight reel, it's just amazing. The speed of which he gets across the pitch and the timing of his challenges is really second to none. Rosicky is just such a classy player but at 35 and coming off a long term injury, I don't see him starting many games unfortunately, perhaps a few cup games maybe but what a player to bring off the bench when you want to grab some control of the game. Watching Ramsey earlier in the season, I thought to myself that a fit and younger Rosicky would suit that role so well.

What was also striking was the speed of Danny Welbeck. Technically he is very underrated also. We marvel over the defensive contribution of Joel Campbell and rightly so I may add but Danny Welbeck's defensive work was/is exceptional. Hopefully he can play his way back into England's plans over the summer and maybe take part in England vs Slovakia during Euro 2016. How about Jack Wilshere's ability to turn defence into attack with a quick drop of the shoulder. Where would he be now in terms of development had it not have been for so many injuries?

Anyway, I am really hopeful that these five (six if Santi comes back quicker than we expect) players can really boost us during this second half of the season. We have three competitions and will need as many players as possible.

Hope you enjoy the video
