The Highbury Library animted promo v5 350x350

Arsenal have completed the signing of Nigerian starlet Kelechi Nwakali on a five year contract according to the player himself on Twitter which is basically an Online Sportsbook for football players these days.

Contact was made some time ago but a move for Nwakali could not be completed until the player’s 18th birthday due to Fifa regulations that forbid the transfer of under 18 year olds unless within the European Union.

Nwakali turned 18 on June 5th (Happy birthday guv, hope you saved us some cake) so the cultured midfielder was able to put pen to paper and commit himself to the greatest team the world has ever seen.

Apparently we managed to fight off competition from a lot of big clubs for his services which is good in many ways. I do not know a lot about him apart from the fact that he is quite rangy with a good passing range. I can't wait to hear someone compare him to Patrick Vieira (again) that will be fun.

I have no idea (obviously) what Arsene's plans are for him but I imagine he will be thrown in with the other talented youngsters we have on own books and he will be forced to sink of swim.

The more youngsters the merrier I say, that way we have a better chance of squeezing out another Bellerin/Iwobi. If it doesn't work out then the player gets a good footballing education and we probably make a profit on his sale.

Win win and all that. Anyway that is all rather premature so in the meantime..

Welcome Mr Kelechi Nwakali

His partnership with Mesut Özil, his running from deep and his underrated ball winning ability makes him a ...Read more
