The Highbury Library animted promo v5 350x350

Arsene has taken the unusual step of naming his team in advance of tomorrow's clash against Galatasaray. Given the changes to the squad it is clear that Arsene doesn't view this as a normal fixture so handing in an early team sheet shouldn't be too much of a surprise.

The biggest news is that Mathieu Debuchy is back in the side after his long term injury, the news is even better when you consider that Laurent Koscielny is being rested tomorrow so he can deal with the busy Christmas schedule. Alexis Sanchez has been knocked on the head unconscious and left at the training ground so he doesn't run onto the plane. He won't be happy when he wakes up.

As we are hit with midfield injuries, there isn't a great deal Arsene can do. Such a shame for someone like Tomas Rosicky who has been twiddling his fingers on the bench all season and now he can play, he can't because like half of our team, he's crocked.

All the changes have happened in the final third. Yaya Sanogo and Joel Campbell will be looking to replicate the can of whoop ass they gave to Benfica in pre season while Lukas Podolski will probably be given a rare 90 minutes on the left.

We have a super young bench so it will be great experience if any of those guys get on.

Confirmed Line Up:

Subs: Martinez, Kamara, Maitland-Niles, O’Connor, Iwobi, Zelalem, Akpom

Preview tomorrow.

'till then

His partnership with Mesut Özil, his running from deep and his underrated ball winning ability makes him a ...Read more
