Ok, I didn't see that one coming. Kieran Gibbs starts on the left wing after his impressive cameo against Tottenham the last time we took to the field. Gibbs made an impact when he came onto the pitch and managed to get the goal late in the second half. I might go and check out live sports betting and see what the odds are on Gibbo hitting the net once more, unlikely perhaps but worth a look nonetheless.

What I find most interesting will be how Alexis will function assuming he will be moved to the right of the pitch. His special move of cutting inside his man and driving into a central position may not work quite the same from the right but perhaps he will go past his man on the flank a little more from that side. We shall see.

Joel Campbell drops down to the bench which must be a little pinch for him. But at least we have his attacking threat from the bench should we need it.

Confirmed Line Up:

Subs: Ospina, Debuchy, Gabriel, Arteta, Flamini, Campbell, Reine-Adelaide

Manchester City have a tricky fixture against Klopps Liverpool so this is a good chance to push on in this division. There have been many ups and downs so far this season and I expect more to follow, I guess the idea is to make sure we can pick up results in these types of matches, the one's where you cannot always play your best football but you find the resources as Arsene would say, to find the goal when it matters. This is why we need the likes of Alexis and Özil on song (poor Alex) we pay these players the big bucks because they can pull something out of the bag when called for. With so many players around them out injured, we need to lean on them once more.

We have a decent run of fixtures lined up now so it is important we make the most of that and not get any injuries to key players (kiss of death I know) we kinda need to drag ourselves through November and December until the likes of Wilshere, Rosicky, Welbeck, Walcott and co come back and take their places back in the squad.

Anyway, enjoy the game.
