The Highbury Library animted promo v5 350x350

Francis Coquelin is finally ready for a Premier League start which will please many Gooners around the world and he starts alongside Aaron Ramsey for the first time since the West Ham defeat back in August. Mathieu Flamini drops down to the bench. Hopefully the midfield have had a few training sessions to gel together.

Per Mertesacker also returns to the starting 11 as Gabriel picked up a hamstring strain. I wonder how that may affect our approach to the game given Leicester City's counter attacking game plan.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain starts on the right which is little surprise given Arsène's comments pre match about the confidence his recent goal and assist could give the player. No doubt it is a little harsh on Joel Campbell but this is a chance for the Ox to cement his place in the starting eleven.

Oliver Giroud continues as our centre forward while the out of form Theo Walcott starts the game on the bench. Mohammed Elneny returns to the bench after his birth of his new child which meant he was absent from the squad against Bournemouth. Danny Welbeck is also fit enough for a place on the bench which is great news for the squad.

Confirmed Line Up:

Subs: Ospina, Chambers, Flamini, Elneny, Campbell, Walcott, Welbeck
