The Highbury Library animted promo v5 350x350

More transfer rumours are flying around today regarding our beloved club. Unfortunately its out instead of in.

Big Phil Senderos is linked with a transfer to Juventus for around 4 million pounds. Its just newspaper talk at the moment so we don't know exactly how much truth is in it right now.

I'm not quite sure how I would feel if Senderos left. For me the boy blows hot or cold, he has been so good at times that he was nicknamed Swiss Tony by Gunners fans which is quite a tag to have over your head. The trouble is he could easily be named Swiss Donkey for his outrageous mistakes. Didier Drogba has given the poor kid nightmares in the last few seasons. I think once he matures he will be a top center half but while he is prone to errors and lacks pace then its hard to put your faith in him 100%

Personally I think his Swiss teammate Johan Djourou has more to offer and has a better all round game, the trouble is Senderos is better in the air than the rest of our defenders and gives us that bit of no nonsense at the back.

I suppose Arsene knows better than anyone about Senderos' situation and potential, so we shall wait and see.

Djourou himself is linked with a move to Birmingham on loan, which would be a crazy thing to do in my oh so humble opinion. Especially as Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Eboue are due to jet of for the Africans Cup of Nations. Johan can play right back, center half and holding midfield so I think his versatility is a must for the coming season. I think Djourou could easily step in for Kolo or Gallas and not much would change. Shame he hasn't got Senderos' heading ability.

Can I ask you a question? Why do display the match in a different time zone? Shouldn't it be GMT? I could have sworn we are in England after all?
Anyway, hopefully we can get our passing game together and can look sharp before the Emirates Cup.

Have a nice day all

So let me stop reminiscing of days gone by and let me focus on our Welsh wonder. Let me start off by saying that I think it is quite obvious that Aaron Ramsey is better in central midfield. His partnership with Mesut Özil, his running from deep and his underrated ball winning ability makes him a ...Read more
