So its finally happened, Jose Reyes has left Arsenal football club and has joined Madrid, surprisingly it is Atletico Madrid that have agreed a deal with us and not Real.

Reyes could have been a major player for us and its a shame that it hasn't worked out, especially with Thierry Henry leaving.

Like all of our business this year the fee was undisclosed but its believed that the price is around the 6 million mark, hopefully that's rising.

So now that Ljungberg and Reyes have left, the money is sitting on Arsene's table (not literarily I'm guessing) I would imagine that a signing could well be around the corner.

The next question is who? There have been rumours flying around about Ricardo Quaresma who could well have impressed Arsene in last years Champions League matches against us for Porto, but I seriously doubt it will happen. He could cost big bucks and I have read alot about him apparently joining us. What I have learnt with Arsenal transfers is that in our case where there is smoke there is unlikely to be any kind of fire
