The will he won't he is set to continue. I am talking about Arsene Wenger but this time I am not talking about him signing a new contract, I am talking about buying players before the window closes.
Arsene claims that he can't find any players in his price range at the moment. That is probably his way of announcing to other clubs that he is not willing to pay the large money.
I am sure that someone on his wishlist is possible. It might be another Gallas, Baptista last minute deal.
Other news is that Spanish wonderkid Fran Merida is telling everyone not to compare himself to Cesc Fabregas. I am sure he has said that before. Is that recycled news? Anyway, he is right they are different players. I haven't seen very much of Mr Merida but what I have seen of him looks quite positive. He is more of an attacking central midfielder than Fabregas. He probably has a better shot than Cesc already at his tender age but his overall game is not good enough. That will come in time.
Gallas has claimed that he will be out of action until October. But what he meant was, he won't be playing for France until October.
It will be interesting to see how Kolo Toure deals with the captaincy in the next few games. If another center back gets injured then we are up that creek without that paddle thingy.
Johan Djourou really should be in the squad, our squad really isn't big enough to give first team players on loan to other clubs
Theo Walcott played for the England under 21's last night and played very well apparently. I didn't see it but he was rated man of the match in some newspapers. I reckon Theo has a secret twin brother who played for Southampton and played last night the one who doesn't know how to get past a full back or control the ball is the one who is in the Arsenal squad. Hopefully we can sort this out and pack the Arsenal one away to Algeria forever and bring back the proper one.
Its so funny hearing what is going on down at Spurs. They were so bloody excited during the pre season how they are better than us now blah blah. Now Martin Jol is favourite to get the sack first in the Premiership. They should be on television, great comedy.
Adios, until tomorrow.
