A slightly later entry than normal.
I managed to get to the game yesterday thanks to a last minute phone call. Infact I had a spare ticket that I was willing to give away for free but it was too late notice. What a shame ey?
First of all I want to say that I was impressed with Manchester City. I thought their start to the season was a bit of a fluke but from what I saw I don't think it is. It could be a top 6-8 finish for them this season.
I am a little concerned about our goalscoring to be honest. Its still early on in the season but it happened last season for large periods as well. We have so much of the ball but in the final third we don't look very dangerous and we haven't for some time. I also think we are lacking some pace in the final third.
Arsene came out and stated more positives from the team, but I know he is concerned deep down about our lack of goals. I mean when was the last time we went in 3-0 at half time? Even 2-0 up. It just doesn't happen these days. Its like we are still waiting for the side to click and then whoosh! we will destroy teams 5-0. I was hoping that Eduardo would solve this issue, we will wait and see.
BREAKING NEWS: Arsenal confident that Arsene will sign new deal
Obifemi Martins has been linked to us once again by the media. Its probably something to fill newspapers but I think his explosiveness (Is that actually a word) could be great for our 1 paced team.
