The Highbury Library animted promo v5 350x350

Morning,

Maybe my prediction of 3-1 was a bit optimistic but I did say that Van Persie will be the difference, incase you didn't know, I have Psychic powers (I suppose I should already know that) Like I said in the MATCH REPORT I didn't think it was our best performance but the most important thing is that we got the job done.

I don't want to be negative here, especially as these two have done very well so far this season but I have a feeling that the Adebayor / Van Persie partnership will not be effective enough against better defenders. They are both good individual players but I think we miss that electric pace and ability than can turn tight matches. Henry, Anelka and even Wrighty before them had that extra yard to get away from defenders and score out of nothing. I know Van Persie has ability galore but he is a natural goalscorer? I guess time will tell. I may write an article about this further down the line. As I said, I am not trying to be negative here but its a gut feeling that I have had since ol grump left in the summer.

Jabs aka Usmanov is considering throwing Dein out of a window if his bad feeling with the current board causes him problems. He roared:

"I don't want his personal relationship with the current board to in any way effect my relationship with the board. We will try to convince David Dein to be less hostile."

Arsene Wenger has been starving the players for weeks so they can get the best out of themselves.

"It says something about the focus of the team. Even though it was not the most glamorous of games, we had good focus and a good team display. Overall the team is hungry."

Well, it is working Arsene, keep it up.

Speaking of which, I need to go and get some food before I vanish in my chair. Have a good day all, take care of yourself.. and eachother.

So let me stop reminiscing of days gone by and let me focus on our Welsh wonder. Let me start off by saying that I think it is quite obvious that Aaron Ramsey is better in central midfield. His partnership with Mesut Özil, his running from deep and his underrated ball winning ability makes him a ...Read more
