I feel like pooh today, infact I feel like utter pooh today and that is never good is it? I am going to keep this one short today because I need insert some caffeine into my blood stream before I attempt to get on with the day.
As expected, all the talk is about Theo Walcott, alot of that is because he is English. If his name was Thei Walquesio then nothing would have been said, thats the English press for you though. Walcott for England! He must be in the squad! Then one average game and he is the biggest liability in the world. Arsene will know this and will be telling him to keep his feet on the ground. Not that he can actually fly or anything, but just in case I guess.
I loved Robin Van Persie's Interview there are not many players who don't speak in a robot way and say exactly what they think, thankfully Robin says it as it is, it is a refreshing change I must say.
Liverpool lost in the Champions League again last night. Ooh, they are in trouble now. They have to win all the rest of their matches if they are to progress. They didn't play very well against Everton and were lucky to come away with the 3 points. I must say I fancy our chances at Anfield now. The only way Liverpool will beat us, is if they stop us from playing.
Just to contradict myself earlier about not putting alot of pressure on Theo. I wonder what the odds are on him becoming our record goalscorer? Does anyone know?
He is only 18 years old and looks like a natural finisher. If he stays at our club and is a first team player then why not? I may put a cheeky tenner on it for a long term investment for when I am old and broke.
Right, off to put the kettle on. More tomorrow.
