The Highbury Library animted promo v5 350x350

Morning,

Nothing new really happening today, oh apart from Mr Potato head as been relived of his duties. They lost 2-1 at home to an average Spanish team in a second rate European competition. Ah well, C'est la vie. As long has they don't get Jose Mourinho, then I don't care.

Speaking of Jose, the Liverpool keeper Reina is looking forward to the big one on Sunday.

"It is a top Premier League game and we are optimistic. The fans will always be behind us, they should not be down because of what happened in Istanbul, they will know that we played well and made a lot of chances but did not take them. We must bounce back on Sunday."

I think Reina is due a mistake really, so I recommend he gets it out of his system against us by copying the Slavia keeper and giving the ball to anyone in our side. Ok, maybe not Adebayor though.
Manu, I love your contribution to the side so far but please work on your finishing.

I am a little bit impatient as to know what Arsene will do in terms of personnel for Sunday. 4-4-2?, 4-5-1?, Walcott?, Eduardo?, Eboue? I suppose I will just have to wait and see.

Theo Walcott doesn't want to be compared to Thierry Henry and quite frankly he really shouldn't be.

Walcott said: "It was brilliant to train with him every day and take bits out of his game. But I'm my own player.

"People are always going to compare me to Thierry - the way I run and everything - but as I keep saying I will be my own player.

"Everyone was disappointed when he left but in a way we have sort of forgotten about him at the moment with us doing so well.

"But he is doing brilliant at Barcelona and I wish him all the best."

Apart from the fact that both players are very fast, the comparisons basically end there. Technically Walcott will never be in the class of Henry but Theo can be a deadly finisher.

So let me stop reminiscing of days gone by and let me focus on our Welsh wonder. Let me start off by saying that I think it is quite obvious that Aaron Ramsey is better in central midfield. His partnership with Mesut Özil, his running from deep and his underrated ball winning ability makes him a ...Read more
