The Highbury Library animted promo v5 350x350

1) I am going to jump straight into it, because all Arsenal fans would like to know. What on earth is going on with Serge Gnabry?

I think one of the main problems has been Tony Pulis' tactics. For the majority of the season we have been playing some pretty uninspiring defensive football, with central midfielders out wide and central defenders in the full-back roles. It's certainly not the type of football that a player such as Gnabry would fit into. Only recently, after much criticism from fans, has Pulis recalled Stephane Sessegnon - who is very smiliar to Gnabry - to the team, but you get the feeling before long he will be sidelined by Pulis again. Gnabry is not the only one that can feel hard done by, Callum McManaman is another quick and skilful player that Pulis has by and large ignored this season in favour of hard-working 'plodders'.

2) Goals have not been easy for you to come by this season it seems, why do you think this is the case?

As mentioned above we have gone into far too many games this season with the intention to sit-back and defend as opposed to chase wins against teams. With that mentality it's always going to be difficult for any team to score, especially a team severely lacking creativity like we are. Pulis has also preferred to use our best striker and main provider of goals - Saido Berahino - in more of a midfield role which has totally negated his threat in most games.

3) Who have been West Brom's players of the season so far and why?

Jonny Evans has been a class above anything else since he arrived from Manchester United, absolutely fantastic. I was one of the many that raised eyebrows at the amount we were reported to have paid for him but I'm happy to say he's so far turned out to be worth every penny.

There's not been too many others that have been particularly impressive, the controversial James McClean perhaps the pick of the rest. He's an extremely hard-working and fully committed player but does perhaps lack an end product at times.

4) Which of your guys could cause Arsenal a few problems this afternoon and why?

The three main threats are:

Stephane Sessegnon is always capable of causing teams problems and he has been generally impressive since he returned to the side a few weeks back.

Saido Berahino is our best hope of a goal although with how he's being used by Pulis his goal threat is currently greatly diminished. Record signing Salomon Rondon has struggled somewhat since he joined the club but he does pose a threat in the air with each of the three goals he has scored so far being headers.

5) Are there any players in the Arsenal team that you are concerned about before the game?

All of them ! The Gunners have so many talented and dangerous players it really is difficult to pick just one or two out. The likes of Cazorla, Giroud, Ozil and Alexis will cause problems for any defence.

6) What would be a successful season for you this season?

Even though it's not the most ambitious of targets it has to be survival. With the ridiculous amount of money coming into the Premier League next season it is absolutely vital we stay up.

7) Any other thoughts?

It's going to be a really tough game for us, Arsenal are usually pretty decent away from home whilst we've struggled at The Hawthorns so far. Hopefully the heavy defeat at Bayern Munich will have knocked a bit of confidence out of the Gunners but I still fancy you to possess a little too much for us. I'll say 2-1 to the visitors.

Thanks to Mark from for taking part in this. Best of luck for the rest of the season, after today of course.

So let me stop reminiscing of days gone by and let me focus on our Welsh wonder. Let me start off by saying that I think it is quite obvious that Aaron Ramsey is better in central midfield. His partnership with Mesut Özil, his running from deep and his underrated ball winning ability makes him a ...Read more
