Ooh, we get top billing on ITV4 again. Aren’t we lucky? ITV continue their United worship.

Win this game and Champions League qualification is all but secured. If Sevilla beat Steau Bucharest at home then we’d probably only need a point in Prague or a win at home to Steau to finish in the top two.

Not that we really need to think like that, but it’d be nice to have the option to rest players when we’re playing three games a week until the new year. This is our last home game before the run of two games out of the next ten being held at Ashburton Grove. We’ve won eleven games in a row now. I so want it to be thirteen next week.

Team News

Senderos is out for a couple of weeks, van Persie for a month. Other than that Wenger has a fit squad to pick from. I’d expect there to be one or two team selection alterations. With everyone fit we may as well rotate a tad, especially with a trip to Anfield at the weekend. We looked a bit toothless upfront against Bolton with Adebayor having a serious issue with gravity and Eduardo not really getting on the end of any chances. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Bendtner starting this game. Not to drop Adebayor or Eduardo as such, just to give him a chance to show what he can do in van Persie’s absence. Or maybe Walcott could start up top. Rosicky might start to make sure he’s fully match fit for the weekend, Diaby or Gilberto could come into midfield to give Fabregas a rest. Having started twice for Spain and playing the whole game against Bolton it wouldn’t hurt to give him a break.

Subs: Fabianski, Denilson, Flamini, Fabregas, Hleb, Eboue, Adebayor

Note: I doubt the team will be even close to that, it’s just what I’d pick. It’s strong enough to win, gives Bendtner a

chance upfront, gives Rosicky 60-70 minutes to get fit, and rests Hleb, Fabregas and Adebayor for Sunday.
