We’ve managed one Champions League game this season that hasn’t been on ITV4 or Sky One.

With all going rosy in the league it’s back to the Champions League, where a victory in this game would see us finish top of group H.

If the teams that are currently first in their groups, end up finishing first, then coming top of our group is the difference between facing one of Porto, Real Madrid, AC Milan, Barcelona and Inter Milan, and Fenerbahce, Roma, Rangers, Shakhtar Donetsk, Lazio, Rosenborg and Marseille. Still, it didn’t really hurt us when we had to play Real Madrid and Juventus on our way to the final did it? While Sevilla are also in a strong position, they will be looking to win this game, to ensure qualification and to avenge the 3-0 defeat back in September.

Sevilla are having a bit of a tough time of it in the league this season, finding themselves in tenth place. I suppose they’re having a tough time getting over the shock of their manager leaving a side that finished third in La Liga after achieving consecutive UEFA Cup victories, for a side that had won one of their twelve league games. They lost to Villareal at the weekend, but have beaten Real Madrid and Valencia in recent weeks.

Team News

Still injured for this game are Diaby, van Persie and Hleb. Clichy picked up a knock against Wigan and won’t travel to Spain, but should be back by the weekend. Flamini is fit enough to be in the squad but won’t start. Gallas and Adebayor haven’t travelled for the purposes of being rested. Gilberto and Fabregas come back into the squad. Bendtner will definitely start, alongside either Walcott or Eduardo. Don’t really know whether or not Fabregas will start, seeing as we’ve already qualified, and have three tough away matches next week, maybe he’ll be given another game off. Wenger will get relatively close to his dream of a squad of central midfielders, with six in the squad for this game. Just Diaby missing to complete the set.
