The Highbury Library animted promo v5 350x350

Not much in the way of time today for a proper preview of the game so here is just a few bits and pieces before I head out for the day.

If you're not pumped about the derby this afternoon then watch this..

With Tottenham often the laughing stock of North London, I find myself pointing and chuckling at them forgetting the fierce rivalry between the two of us. It's nice to see just how much we get under their skin, especially after Sol Campbellgate. I was at my old work at the time when the deal happened. We worked in a rather large open plan office with Sky Sports News on in the background when the news broke he jumped out of his chair and flopped to the floor screaming 'Nooooo' in front of the bosses and all sorts. That is how much that move hurt them. Hilarious stuff.

Speaking of hilarious, this is well worth a read and chuckle from great guy Darren Berry. The Hilarious Arsenal Fans A-Z of Tottenham, laughing stock of North London well worth a moment of your time.

As for the game today, too many people are tipping us to win comfortably for my liking. They've been terrible in recent weeks and this type of fixture is just the kind of fixture the Tottenham manager will use to kick-start their season. They will be committed and aggressive for sure so we will have to match that.

As for team selection, I reckon that depends on what system Arsène opts for. If we want to press them high up and get behind their back four early then you may have to prepare yourself for Mesut Özil playing on the left in place of Cazorla with Wilshere coming back into the side but if Arsène keeps the 4231 then I reckon Cazorla will start ahead of Wilshere but out on the left, allowing rotation between himself and Mesut.

Mean Lean's Predicted Line Up (4-1-4-1)

We beat them three times out of three last season and the first victory kick-started our season, given our run of games, we could well do with that again. I've got a feeling the new boys will leave their mark on the game today. Tottenham tried to buy Welbeck but were beaten to his signature by us (so what's new) so it would be  typical for him to score. especially after opening his account last weekend.

It's going to be a battle out there and as I said earlier we'll very much have to match them first then let's let our football do the talking.

Come on Arsenal, big game today please.

So let me stop reminiscing of days gone by and let me focus on our Welsh wonder. Let me start off by saying that I think it is quite obvious that Aaron Ramsey is better in central midfield. His partnership with Mesut Özil, his running from deep and his underrated ball winning ability makes him a ...Read more
