The Highbury Library animted promo v5 350x350

So it looks like we have finally turned the corner. 2 games without loss! wow. Who knows this could turn into a nice little unbeaten run that will end half way through next season but it doesn't matter because we are crowed champions. I can dream can't I?

It started pretty much the same way as it has recently. We started well, moved the ball around in the way that we can but another stupid defensive mistake allowed Nolan a whole load of space inside the area to head at Lehmann who could only parry the ball to ol French looking goat to tap in and run off doing that stupid butterfly type camp thing that he does.

I really feared the worst at that point, I was swearing at my screen and very annoyed. How is this team of no goalscorers going to score against a side that knows how to stop us scoring even when we are scoring?

Luckily we conceded early enough to do something about it and up the gears.

I really think that Tomas Rosicky made a big difference, not only for his goal but his link play and passing really clicked the team together along with Fabregas.

Arsenal opened the scoring with a great move and a normal type of finish. Its so nice to see us score goals that so many teams take for granted. Adebayor and Hleb who was incredibly inconsistent throughout the game linked up well and Adebayor crossed deep into the box and Nicky Hunt should have cleared the ball but Rosicky jumped infront of Hunt and poked the ball past Jaaskelainen.

Drogba, Robbie Keane, Rooney, Darren Bent score goals like that all the time. Rosicky made his mind up to take the gamble and get into the box and this was the end result. I would like to see Hleb, Rosicky, Fabregas etc to take that gamble more often and get into the box.

It was one way traffic after that Toure, Ljungberg had chances to put Arsenal infront. Bolton could not handle the movement and quick passing. We taught them the same lesson we taught them at the Reebok in the FA Cup.

A minute into the second half Gilberto slid a perfect pass through to Cesc who turned inside one defender and out of another and placed a shot into the corner of the net. You could see all the frustration coming out of him with his celebration. It is nice to see the young lads heart and passion.

The chances kept coming and we kept missing chances. The worrying thing is that we are still looking so awful at the back. We don't defend as a unit we defend with 4 individual players and its scary who bad it can look sometimes.

Bolton should have had a late penalty from a stupid stupid handball. That boy really has to learn.

So we are now 2 points behind the scousers and they have the Champions League to think about so 3rd is not out of the question now.

Lets hope we can go from strength to strength from now on.

So let me stop reminiscing of days gone by and let me focus on our Welsh wonder. Let me start off by saying that I think it is quite obvious that Aaron Ramsey is better in central midfield. His partnership with Mesut Özil, his running from deep and his underrated ball winning ability makes him a ...Read more
