How the hell did that happen? ONLY Arsenal can batter a team so badly at home, play well and create chances and end up losing

HOW?!!!!

To be honest I am quite fed up of writing 'It's the same old story' its getting rather tedious now.

We started the game with pretty much the strongest side that we could field minus Henry and Van Persie.Eboue was fit and started at right back, which was a good thing because his attacking ability could help break them down. Baptista was dropped to the bench after previous poor performances. Tomas Rosicky was played in a forward position behind Adebayor and his early creative passing was very promising.

I am not going to go through every chance we had because explaining 784 chances in detail will take far to long. But I do want to ask why didn't Cesc just dink the ball over Green when he came running out towards him. Why do all of our players hit shots at the keeper?

The match against Liverpool was a totally different match to this one, we played some wonderful stuff at times and sliced through The Hammers time and time again. But of course we would do, we have a team full of creative players. Rosicky, Hleb, Cesc and slice through most teams at will. But as well all know, we do not have ANY players fit who can finish at will. Finishing looks as difficult as asking Nigel Winterburn to hit a 35 yard free kick on his right foot into the top corner or asking Marc Overmars to make a crunching 50/50 tackle on Michael Essein or even asking Baptista to bring the ball down under control.

Everyone is asking how?!

I have to look for positives to add into this article so you don't leave this site thinking of grabbing the tablets in your bathroom... Overdose is really not the answer. Putting the Liverpool match aside here, we have been playing well and creating chances pretty much for the whole season. We have missed the 25 goal strike force of Henry and Van Persie for a large period of the season so hey, its not all doom and gloom.

Arsene will have to improve our faults, our problems our weak points, which we know is our finishing. Now how to you fix this? What do you do to improve this? Who do you buy, and maybe more importantly who do you replace? Alot of fans are calling for the head of Alex Hleb. Alot of you will know that I am a fan of a confident, fit Aleksandr Hleb. He has the ability to beat players which alot of our players don't. He does have a terrible habit of giving the ball away which is strange for a player of his ability. I expect Julio Baptista to give the ball away. Technically he is poor. The Belarus International is technically fantastic, has great two feet but he really is not a scorer of goals. He looks lost when the easier option is to shoot. So with his lack of goal threat and his knack of finding the wrong shirt he looks favourite to lose the first team shirt if Arsene was to buy a ready made first teamer.

That ready made first teamer is looking like it could be Franck Ribery. If it is him, will he really fix our problems? Yes he is a winger who can get in behind people from the wing instead of moving inside from wide areas to congest an already congested central area. But his stats don't tell me that he is the answer to solve our midfield goalscoring problem. 6 Goals in 35 games (In a lower standard French league) last year and 3 goals in 18 games so far this season does not exactly pump me filled with confidence.

I want to know what you think, how do we solve this issue, who do we buy, who do we drop?

Surely that West Ham result cannot happen again this season. The trouble is Chelsea and Bolton at home are not West Ham, so I don't know if we will have that many chances against those sides. The Bolton match is another must win game that we happen to keep losing.. oh god, someone throw me those tablets!

So let me stop reminiscing of days gone by and let me focus on our Welsh wonder. Let me start off by saying that I think it is quite obvious that Aaron Ramsey is better in central midfield. His partnership with Mesut Özil, his running from deep and his underrated ball winning ability makes him a ...Read more
