Good day to you all. During the season and up until its conclusion i have had some thoughts about this team. With the ending of this season many Gunners are of the thought that we need a slew of signing in order to compete.I must stress that i am not of that view and if we look at this team objectively we would see we don't need allot of signings just some tweaks here and there.

First thing that i would like to see is that we press more when we don't have the ball reason being is that if we press the opposition then we would increase the chance of them making a would also allow Denilson to take a greater advantage in the dm role and would mitigate some of the pressure on our defence.while some of you would suggest that this is the EPL and that a route 1 long ball would render this tactic null and void having defenders with a better positioning would help with that.

Which brings me to my next point. Most of the problem that we have with our defence is that while we have good individual defenders they are not a cohesive unit,to address that Wenger should hire Martin Keown as a defensive coach, it did wonders in the champions league for us so why not the prem?

Third point there is also the problem of our possession of the ball, compared to our previous campaign we don't keep possession and lose the ball quite often i hope this would be one of the areas that would be addressed this preseason. With the players that we have and them getting a better understanding of each others likes and dislikes on the field then there would b no problem.

I didn't go into formation and players as that would be for another time but if you see my point or don't then leave your constructive criticism.

His partnership with Mesut Özil, his running from deep and his underrated ball winning ability makes him a ...Read more
