So, Man City are in talks to sign Adebayor, it looks likely he will go. The question is ; should we sell him? Yes, he can be infuriatingly lazy and yes he is greedy, stupid and badly advised but last season he scored 16 in 30 starts, what was seen as a poor season for him. It is widely thought that a goal ratio of 1:2 is top class and he achieved this. Also, say we get £25 million, will we sign another top-class striker? Probably not, probably Chamakh as Wenger said, our squad would surely look stronger with ade than chamakh plus the 18 mil

Having said that, I would sell him if it was an offer from abroad, we could use the spare cash to buy a quality central midfielder, not that I know of one available right now, and Chamakh looks a good player. In my opinion, Man City are starting to look like a good side; they are expected to sign Tevez, if they sign Ade as well then they'll have Santa Cruz and Robinho with them as four attacking players that are top quality. They've signed Barry and are sure to keep spending, if it was me I wouldn't sell him, we had a bad enough time for the first half of last season with Villa and Everton without strengthening, and to all those Ade booing pathetic non-football watching critics he is a good player, without strengthening City as well. yes, we shouldn't worry about 4th place we should look at 1st but we have to be realistic. We do have a chance of winning the league but with United looking weaker it could be very tight at the top and the 4th place team may be very close to top, so we do have to worry about City and thus, I would keep him, until someone abroad comes in, then we can sell him.

His partnership with Mesut Özil, his running from deep and his underrated ball winning ability makes him a ...Read more
