Well it's as if even the footballing gods are fed up with Arsene Wenger's "like a new signing" rubbish that when Rosicky finally returned Nasri is now injured & probably wont start playing until November after which he would most certainly have a another setback.

Being an optimist I'll be looking at Nasri's injury from the positive angles, the first being that hopefully Wenger will realize that when an injured player returns , he's not a new signing , he's a player that should be playing , when he's injured we use our resources to fill in his position until he comes back, we should have everyone fit & ready , if we are always ravaged with injuries then we should have more players to increase our squad depth, not rotate & play players out of position to accommodate our injuries.

Hopefully Wenger realizes this and does something about it. Last season for the most part we were rubbish , this season we've lost Adebayor & Nasri so far & I will not bet against us losing at least two more players to injury or transfer. So this means that we wont be stronger than last season & that is really worrying considering that most of the teams around are strengthening.

Speaking of transfers , while I'm glad that Adebayor left (although i highly rate him) it really frustrates me that at the beginning of summer Wenger said as he says every summer that he wanted to keep the squad together well and as always that didn't happen........well at least we tied Eboue down with a long term contract. I'm not happy about Vermaelen either he might turn out to be a great player but until that happens I'll have my doubts.

I'm really fed up with us not signing anyone ,we need to & we must , that's the only way we could have a chance of winning anything next season. I'm I the only one who thinks that Real Madrid's closet cleaning would be great for us ? I mean we can get M.Diarra + Huntelaar or Sjnieder for the amount of money we got out of the Adebayor sale. We could have even tried to get Stephen Ireland with our deal with Man City.

Anyway I really hope we sign good experienced players coz if we don't I'm afraid we'll be even worse than last season . I like most Arsenal fans am a huge admirer of Wenger but if he fails to sign the players we so desperately need I'm afraid i'll begin to have my doubts regarding his ability to manage a great team as Arsenal.
