Now we all know how Arsene goes on saying that his team has the potential to win the major trophies and how he see his team as maturing. But those trophies never came, and the fans are still waiting to see the the players deliver that potential.

Lets be fair here, Arsene is using the club's money like his own, he wont spend it, but even Kolo said it himself, to win trophies you have to spend big money. Football has changed since the turn of the century, Man Utd spend big money Rooney, Ferdinand, Berbatov, Anderson, and look what it got them a champions league, and about 6 premier league titles.

Chelsea well you know the story, Liverpool bought Torres for like 26 million i think, and they came close last season. Arsenal you ask? 15 million the most they ever spend on Arshavin who as you can see has lit up Emirates.

I'm not saying go out and buy anyone whose worth a lot of money but go out and buy because good players dont come cheap. That's the price of success. I'm sure people like Melo or De Rossi would be a welcome addition, certainly better than Denilson and Song. But what does Arsene do? Nothing. Arsenal cant win on attacking play alone, for all of Arshavin, Nasri, RVP, Eduardo, and Cesc's attacking talent, none of them can defend. Attacking play wont get you anywhere and frankly, ain"t we all tired of hearing the same thing, next season will be better because players would have one more season of exprience? They had there season, four to be precise, we want trophies, enough of the heartache.

His partnership with Mesut Özil, his running from deep and his underrated ball winning ability makes him a ...Read more
