Foooooook me. 8 bloody 2. One of the worst performances I have ever seen my beloved team play in. Humiliation of the highest order. Everything, just everything fell apart. But what positives can we take from such a torrid game?

Not much, that’s for sure. We only gave one penalty away, i guess that’s a plus. As Piers Morgan so gracefully put it, Jenkinson’s stupid red card means we don’t have to see him for at least three games. We have Frimpong back next game, a very good thing seeing as though I didn’t even realise Francis COCKuelin was on the pitch. Gibbs may recover soon, because Traore, putting it simply, is shit. Vermealen will be back to take over from that donkey that goes by the name of Johan Djourou, and who knows, Gary Cahill may be an Arsenal game by the time we face Swansea.

Now let’s look at the negatives, and I can assure you, this part is going to be a lot longer than the last. I’ll start with our defense. The same centre back pairing that played in Arsenal’s 1-0 win of Manchester United last season, the same centre back partnership that played in Arsenal’s 2-1 win Uefalona. Yeah, I’m talking about half donkey half man Johan Djourou and his accomplice Laurent Koscielny.  Djourou is one clumsy defender... doesn’t know where to keep his hands and likes to run in to people… Jenkinson done quit a good impession of him, actually. Djourou really does let Kos down though, because I think Kos is a good player. Him and Vermaelen impress me when they play together. So don’t expect me pick out the faults in his performance because I like him too much. On to the full backs, who really did let the team down today. I’m not going to go on about signings, because I believe that Sagna (obviously) and Gibbs (just about) are good on our flanks. But fuck me, we have absolutely no depth in those positions. I hear the fans loud and clear when they tell me “Jenkinson is one for the future” and that he’s “been thrown in at the deep end”, but you have to question the boss; did he really believe that Jenkinson could be a good back up to Sagna, assuming he knew that Eboue would depart? I really can’t believe that, somehow. It’s quite amazing that both of his yellow cards were for exactly the same thing.. surely, as a young, improving player, you would not make the same mistake twice? If I was the Arsenal captain, I would just a few words for him. These words would be, “you silly, silly BOY.” Now on to Traore. Now this guy is, in my opinion, not good enough to wear our red and white colours (or light and dark blue, in this case.) He is just terrible; he has no positional awareness, and was a complete liability today. Defensive rant over.

Midfield; be prepared. Actually, I’m not going to say much about the midfield. Coquelin’s performance was okay, I suppose, for a young player playing with tremendous pressure in his first Premier League performance. Ramsey is not Cesc, silly Gooners. He never has been, he never will be. He is Aaron, and remember, he is a young man still recovering from his injury, and any abuse toards him is unjustified. Rosicky has impressed me recently, and impressed me again today, as surprising as that might sound. He is the sort of player we need, he doesn’t give up, chases lost causes, tackles and sets up attacks. So yeah, midfield, don’t worry, you weren’t to blame.

Mr £16 million European Championship’s most impressive player, once again, played like a twat. His yellow card could have so easily been a red, and he could also have got another yellow or straight red again after a challenge on Phil Jones.  Robin Van Persie, our captain, couldn’t really do much today given the lack of possession, but the least he could have done is convert the penalty. Terrible attempt. Theo Walcott didn’t get in to the game also because of the lack of possession, and his goal shouldn’t have been allowed to go in, but hey, that’s David De Gea for you.

You might be able to tell, I got bored towards the end of this article. I don’t want to reminisce, becaue it was a shit performance and a dreadful result.

However, I titled this article ‘The Death of Arsenal FC’, as I have the confidence we can mount a resurrection.

Please, please, please keep the faith.

Mean Lean's Response

Thank you Craig, I am still sat here a little perplexed. A little unsure about what it is I am trying to say. Last night when the house was quiet, I attempted to write a post match thoughts article. I just couldn't do it. Too painful and just didn't know where to start with it. Today after painfully going through the highlights again it looks a little clearer to me.

The overall picture is that, this result was an absolute disgrace and I will stand and shout that as loudly as the next man. I will not attempt to defend the club, players, management after that because the score tells you much more than I could.

However, when Francis Coquelin was replaced in the 62nd minute we were losing 3-1, had a penalty missed and missed good chances. As awfully depleted and makeshift as some of that team was, they should never ever concede 5 goals in 28 minutes. Don't get me wrong, Manchester United had more chances that they could have converted but as it was, a very weakened Arsenal team had scored a late goal in first half stoppage time and had improved in the second half until we went for broke and were well and truly bankrupted.

Serious questions need to be asked as to why our professionals went AWOL defensively. It was embarrassing and should never happen at this level. It reminded me of when I play football on a Tuesday evening and the guy who randomly picks the teams for each week decides to fill one side with 8 strikers and one defender. That one defender was Laurent Koscielny and he was left horribly exposed.

I have so much to say but don't want to dominate your article with a load of drivel but I will say this. I am not convinced that Arsene Wenger should shoulder so much of the responsibility of not bringing in the players he wants.

I have already spoken about Liam Brady's comments on RTE about the board refusing to bring in certain targets because they were out of our price bracket in terms of wages. Forgetting articles published by people who claim to be in the know. Liam Brady works at the club and would know more than anyone. He also works very closely alongside Arsene.

What benefit would it do us for Arsene Wenger to so strongly say

"Imagine the worst situation - we lose Fabregas and Nasri - you cannot convince people you are ambitious after that"

Would a man who stated that then agree to sell those players? Seriously?

If I was to guess who deserves the lion's share of the blame then I am plumping for the Arsenal board. What manager would not want all his targets in as soon as possible so they can prepare for the season?

Certain fans do not like me defending our manager so here is something for them. In my eyes, Wenger was very wrong to approach the game the way he did. We were very weak and we played at Manchester United as if we were at full strength. He should have seen that Traore with Arshavin ahead of him was an explosion waiting to happen. He should have played as we did in Barcelona, conservative and used Theo and Arshavin on the break. His removal of our only recognised defensive midfielder along with the red card transformed a 3-1 defeat into a 8-2 defeat within 28 minutes. He is responsible for much of that.

Call me delusional, and I am sure many will. But we are not actually that far away from a very good team even without Cesc and Nasri. I shouldn't be writing that after a 8-2 defeat but that is my honest feelings. What is an absolute must to reach that very good team is to plug in the holes in the squad with experience quality, stop picking up bloody red cards and keep our players off the treatment table.

What yesterday showed is that when we are missing a large chunk of our squad then we cannot compete whatsoever.

Thank goodness for international football for a change. Let's see what happens on Wednesday so we can put this shambles behind us and start our season again in the way that we have been used to.

We can only hope that this result will make men of some of those boys.
And 4 red cards in 3 games isn't very promising either.
Still, not to worry - as the Dalai Lama (allegedly) said, "If you can do something about it, there's no need to worry, and if you can't do anything about it, there's no point in worrying."
At least the US Open starts today, weather permitting, so something to look forward to the next two weeks.

This result was a long time coming.

There have been numerous capitulations over the last 4-5 years and yesterday was the masterpiece.

We can't keep blaming injuries. They are a fact of life. What is worrying is the manner in which we've thrown in the towel on numerous occasions and just given up.

If you look back you'll find a 1-4 defeat at home to Chelsea, 0-4 defeat in the FA Cup to Man Utd, 1-5 against Spurs in the CC, 1-4 to Liverpool thanks to a Crouch hat-trick.

The list continues - 4-4 against Spurs, ditto v Newcastle and the awful 2-3 defeat at home to Spurs last season were just a continuation of the same theme.

The club, and players have become conditioned to losing when it matters and expect to fail.

Both Wenger AND the board should be blamed.

Wenger has failed to instil basic discipline over a 6 year period and has kept faith in some poor players for far too long. We can't blame the board for Almunia, Diaby, Traore, Arshavin, Djourou, Rosicky.

The board, well, no-one knows what's going on there. In my opinion, we're being slowly asset stripped to line to pockets of 'investors'.

Wenger's emperor new clothes finally exposed nakedly at Old Trafford.
With his current sqad, this is only start of the beginning, We will soon get mauling from Man City, Chelsea and may be Manu again and all top teams from Champion League

We need a new manager that lead us to glory, ManU had the same state as us until Alex Freguson came in.

We're definitely a Champion club must will need a Champion coach (Pep Guardola & etc ) to lead us

Believe or not, we're going to suffer for another year without trophy
    Wenger need to go

our squad is getting smaller and smaller...we needed players last year, this season we sold more players than what we bought ...something is seriously wrong at AFC. wenger is just the puppet its the WANKERS at the board behind him .wheres all that money going . ? its become a joke. even on the the AFC site u gotta pay to watch things...WTF?!?!?
personally i think that the board dont give a shit about the fans - the players- the manager- trophys- they only want the money
and since we only spending 3-10 million per player ,we shouldve kept our good players from the invincable era, and mould our youngsters around them , we shouldve treated them with respect instead of selling them- pires, flamini ,henry etc.... because sometimes karma comes around and bites u,,,,like viera persuades nasri to join city...

Enough is enough, I agree with Mean Lean. Everyone is pointing the finger at the players and manager, (with SOME justification), but they are neither the root, nor whole cause here.
The bloody board have brought this club to it's lowest ebb in over 100 years. They have scant regard for for the fans and it would appear the same for the manager. No one could blame him if he did leave. They hide in the background reaping dividends whilst hamstringing Wenger by putting restrictions on his ability to purchase and offer competitive player remuneration.

Do not get me wrong, some clubs you cannot compete against financially, but.....there has to be a sensible achievable middle ground to make us competitive with the next tier.....we have fallen below this and it's very apparent to all and sundry!

Wenger has brought financial stability to this club and looked to it's future. I have no doubt that we are probably the best positioned financially in the whole league. All this whilst dealing with the monkey on his back.

The most offensive thing is how the board leave this man to take all the flack.....YOU NEED TO REDEEM YOURSELVES NOW, HELP WENGER AND THIS AILING CLUB.

Now to the players. Get off Jenkinsons back! He is young and showed great promise against Udinese in the second leg....but then he had Koscielny as cover and not Djouro. It is Djouro who left him horribly exposed against United, his positional play was awful. Not good enough for Arsenal in my book.

How do we address it. Get Cahill and Samba and push Vermalen out on the left, we would then be approaching a very formidable back four with Sagna, who would be bullied by no one.

Midfield....a holding midfielder with some skill, spine and ability to cover the back four. I know the stats say he's great but how long can we carry that lazy so and so Arsharvin. His get up and go has got up and went!

Last but not least, one out and out proven striker, (not some Korean marketing ploy).

Please do this and we need fear no one.

So you can gather from that

You are who you are and success and failure comes because of who you are.

To the extent AW is to blame for the debacle, I think it goes to who he is: Under him, Arsenal have always, always, always gone to WIN. Their aim is always to score and win, regardless of whether it is the "B" team, or as was the case yesterday, the "D" team.

Just in that 1 case (okay, maybe on a couple of occasions) it would be nice if AW could take the team, and Park the Bus, as they say and go for a draw, and if there is a loss, its 1 nil loss.

But no, thats not who AW is, and thats why he has been successful, and in yesterday's case, unsuccessful....

An excellent article about the death of arsenal. I think you should have added how the clumsy and antiquated ideologies and policies of Wenger and his money loving board led our team to this inexplicable humiliation.

I agree with you that DJ and Traore are not just poor but also extremely clumsy, inept and unskilled. I also think that Jenki proved yesterday that he cant effectively cover for Sagna. However Arshavin was my worse player yesterday, and I think he has proven beyond all reasonable doubt that he has nothing to offer arsenal and I think Wenger or the next arsenal manager shd not have him in his plans after this season.

On the midfield play I think Cocqueline, Ramsey and Rosicky were ok. Cocqueline exhibited some excellent defensive qualities and should be used as back up for Sagna. I believe he would be excellent in the position.

I am fully blaming Wenger for that humiliation. In the first place, He could have done everything within his powers to get Cahill or a defender who is slightly better than DJ into the squad before the trip to Old Trafford. Instead he decided to Keep huge profit margins and gamble on a clumsy defender who has proven in 4 consecutive seasons that he has nothing good to offer our dear club.

On the match itself, what Wenger did wrong was taking out his only defensive minded midfielder Cocqueline who I think was slightly above average considering the fact it was his first time in the premiership.

I will advocate for some level of intervention in Wenger's stingy transfer policy. The board should be ready to question on the the quality of players he signs in recent times. Silvestre n Squillaci were not only clumsy but they cost us trophies. Squillaci for instance was the cause of our inability to win a trophy last season. He was the worse player at Sevilla yet Wenger in his own selfish ideology decided to get him to the emirates. In all the matches he played last season, we won only 1 drew 1 and lost the rest.

I believe that all is not lost Wenger can get 3 quality players, a LB, CB and a creative midfielder. And if Wenger does this Man Shitty and other clubs will start to respect us and we will rule Europe this season.

Craig..Now that is what I am talking about..what a fantastic piece.A blogger in whom I am well pleased.I agree with most of your points except for the bit about Rocisky.he is obviously past his best especially as far as having a starting berth in the side goes.He has a talent for going missing in games when the going gets tough. And IMO, the running around and the diving into tackles comes to me more of an uncontrolled frustration than fighting to get results. It's almost time for Rosickyy to walk.He is not what he used to be..not even close.

ML.I agree with your response for most part. There is something seriously amiss at our Arsenal. It has become obvious that Wenger is not totally responsible for this.So yes..I agree he cant shoulder all the blame..but hey..when the economy gets bad,the president suffers for it..when unemployment soars, the president suffers for it..someone's gotta take the heat..but surely,Wenger is not the only culprit here.
But lets take a step back and look at this.I understand that the wages is an issue but how Wenger has signed so many overrated young players who will probably never make the Arsenal first team cut- and who by the way are paid ridiculous wages is beyond comprehension. From what Brady said,to be able to sign those world class players and have a chance of remotely matching their wage demands,we have to let some people go.And that is the problem right now.Too many underrated young players draining the wage budget.

  • Gino92  - The Day After...
    avatar
I am still in a state of shock after Sunday's debacle and have a whole lot to say but at the same time cannot say much at all! I am slowly findin g a bit of strength the "day after". As horrible and as hurtful and humiliating as the scoreline is, my main worry isn't the scoreline. It is rather the performance and desire of the entire squad. And you would've thought that we learned our lesson after our free-fall last season. The same comments keep getting made so much so that we now sound like a broken record, pardon the cliche. Defensive reinforcement, Midfield reinforcement, and a proven goal scorer, blah blah blah... Why couldn't we have done our business sooner? Are our arses really this tight or are we just hoping that the Manager will eventually get us there, regardless of whatever? In the end, it really didn't matter as our boys happily pulled down their trousers and got collectively RAPED (sorry if I have offended anyone but I could not find a better word) by a stronger, hungrier, and happier United side on Sunday. Worst defeat in over a Century! That says a lot. We are the Club used to doing the spanking most of the time, and now we got a big taste of our own "expired" medecine.
It is (way past) time to sign new experienced, hard working and dedicated players. I used to care but right now, I don't care how much they cost. Maybe I will feel differently after I am finally done hurting, but as it stands we need new bloody players asap irrespective of players out injured/suspended. I said last season that Wenger must start talking tough and acting tough in regards to these "divas" who think they only need to show up to get results and not put in any work whatsoever. Wenger must aslo forget about impeding any youngster's progress at this time because if that youngster is good enough, works hard enough, and wants it badly enough, he will make the first team no matter what. It will up to him to show it to the Manager and earn his spot in the first team. This must no longer be a "Charity Team". Just ask Wilshere and Szczeny. We are the ARSENAL and deserve to be at or near the top. We have no business sitting near the bottom with the likes of WBA, Rovers, and Spuds.

Strange as this may seem, I have never been happier to see the International Break upon us for a change. It is the perfect time for the squad to regroup and dig deep inside, time for the Board to pull their fat stinky fingers out of their equally stinky arses, time for Wenger to open his eyes and finally see that the squad as it is, is doomed for a colossal failure especially without Fabregas (the hearbeat of the team in seasons past), Nasri (to a lesser extent), and Wilshere. And he must do something about it quickly while there is still time. He must also come up with PLAN B and even PLAN C when things are not going right for us (Van Persie needs a partner upfront to play off of, and he most desperately needs someone to pass him the final ball a la Cesc, and that person is not yet Ramsey, clearly). Otherwise, we may be out of the running totally and possibly fighting relegation battles (if you extend our performances to the end of last season and go by that theory) by Christmas. Needless to say that the "vultures" will be out in droves to bite Wenger's head off by then, if NOTHING changes.

I am not an AKB, but I am a realist. Despite everything, he is still our Manager until proven otherwise and he should be allowed and supported to right all the wrongs. Call me delusional but I still have hope for our season and believe that he can do the job if given the proper support (financially, publicly, and emotionally, for he has been looking stressed out for a long time now).

As for the players, if they don't want to perform, I say bench them (look no further than United. They have Berbatov warming the bench and he was joint top goal scorer last season) or get rid of them. Yes, I am f#%$ing talking about you Arshavin, Traore, and Djourou. You are all inconsistent and useless so far. A new Left Back is a must. I am sick of Gibbs and his injury record. He cannot play more than 2 matches in a row if his life depended on it, and he is not even really that good or ready yet! Sagna (our best and most consistent defender in recent years) has no business playing out of position. SPEND THE FUCKING MONEY NOW and get the right players in.

I thought I was over my disappointment and depression, but obviously, I am clearly mistaken. So, I will stop my nonsense now otherwise, my blood pressure will go throught the roof.

    Sorry about the rant.

    ARSENAL Forever!

I agree, if what Liam Brady says is ture (I've written before why would he lie?) then there are 2 ways out of this! First the board should change their policy but just like our government with their policy's on staying within budget I can't immediatly see that happening, so next up comes a cul. If funds can only come from the newly increased 6% ticket sales budget then we need to cul all the dead wood immediadtly.

Because if the board won't sign personal terms because there's not enough money coming out of the season ticket sales budget then a good few names need to be moved on immediately to free up money. A veritable fire sale is what Arsene needs to hold. Only those who will definately make it into the 1st team should be kept, everyone else should go. Maybe my solution is drastic but surely a strong 1st 11 is the most important, a second 11 made up of kids who we hope will step up comes next because their wages bill should be much less.
  • Man United Killa  - Never say never Richie..things dont just happen.
    avatar
Richie, you know things dont just happen..I sit here and think..Wenger is stingy and I dislike him for that but it cant all be his fault-something has definitely gone south..Seriously speaking if we really want to compete we must do something to our wage structure.I guess it makes a lot more sense now.I am no more a big fan of Wenger as you know but why would he go through all this humiliation and abuse from the fans and still not sign a single world class player at least- if just for the sake of appeasing the fans. The wage structure may be tying his hands.God knows he has caused enough crimes with some of his substandard purchases and his persistent with some rubbish players but he has a knack of buying quality players and turning some average players into class-but God knows he cant do that with everyone.Wenger seems to be the only one who does not know that..I am starting to hate the board more everyday for doing this. They are just a bunch of greedy and selfish mother****ers.I hope they crash and burn.Look at what is happening to our club and yet all they can think about is the wage structure.
They can say goodbye to any kind of trophy if they are not prepared to have a second look at the wages. No world class player will settle for 80k when they can easily earn 120k elsewhere. To hell with the board.
And that is a pretty good point you have made about the first and second 11...Some of the kids will definitely turn out to be world class..all the garbage must go where they belong though.
By the way I dont know what you see in Djourou..IMO he is clearly not Arsenal quality. He is fast and foolish-just like Walcott is sometimes.
Have you heard that we are signing a new left back..what a relief that will be if it is true..I dont trust Gibbs and Traore..especially that latter.

How many of our own really know the situation behind the closed doors of our club? More to the point how many of our own have taken the time to find out who's job it actually is at Arsenal to sign players? Way too many of our very own have been quick to lay all the blame at Arsene Wengers door, without actually knowing who does what at the club.

Imagine if you will all the teams kit is dirty an hour before kick off. Who would you blame? Now a lot of our own seem to think that this is the groundsman's fault after all the dirt comes from the pitch doesn't it? Many of us who know would say hold up surely the kit man Vick Ackers is responsible. Following my drift?

Does Arsene Wenger sign players? Answer no!
Does Arsene Wenger negociate to sign players? Answer no!
Does Arsene Wenger have the final say on who he wants to bring in? Answer yes Arsene will say he wants a certain player from a list.
Who makes the list of the targets Arsenal want to sign? Answer Chief Scout Steve Rawley.
Who does the deals & negociates the price with the various clubs? Answer Richard Law. Never heard of him? Surprise Surpise.
    He's Stan Kroenke's man.

According to reports he's so far failed to bring in any of the main targets identified and he's paid over the odds for the promising youngsters. Apparently he has no footballing background and therefore he lacks contacts in footballing circles.

Man Utd. Killa - Very recently Wenger was telling us that he was definitely NOT going to sign a left back - that he had Gibbs and Traore, with Vermaelen as cover.
Now we hear he has just sold Traore and is bringing in Santos. Whilst this makes sense, it makes you wonder why it presumably took an atrocious performance from Traore to finally wake Wenger up to the fact that he's not good enough. Thus resulting in a scramble to sign a replacement at the last minute. This smacks of poor planning, and displays a lack of judgment. Not to mention that his statement that he WILL NOT be signing a left back, subsequently was a lie.
As for the board taking the heat off Wenger - yes, of course the board is to blame also, but the board didn't spend 12 million on Oxlade- Chamberlain, a winger, who is NOT A PRIORITY for us. The manager did.
Yet Samba for example, a DEFENDER - who IS A PRIORITY, is ignored, and yet is the SAME PRICE. Does this make sense ? Only to Wenger it does.

I see the board have predictably given the boss a vote of confidence. Tells you how out of touch they are. One can only hope that as so often happens, this is really the "kiss of death" in disguise.
So far, we're just three games in, have conceded ten goals, scored just two, and have an eight point gap to make up. Hardly Premier League winning form is it ? I predict that even WITH signings, we will finish mid table. Pessimistic ? No, realistic, because Wenger's decline and failings will become MORE EVIDENT as the season unfolds. Adding shiny new hubcaps ( signings ) to the vehicle, is not much use if the wheels are falling off, the engine ( Fabregas ) needs replacing , and the driver is senile and has lost his sense of direction. The result inevitably, will be a car crash waiting to happen.

Gino - Agree with you, but then you say the manager should be "given proper support". We've GIVEN HIM that support for the last six to seven years. And look where we are now. We're actually getting WORSE, not better. He's had far more time than he would have been granted at most other clubs, certainly one with Arsenal's status.
The main reason he's still here, is because he makes profits for the board. But this comes at the expense of on field success. On purely footballing results ( not financial ones ), Wenger would rightfully have been given the chop long before this. But it suits the board to keep him here. The only way to remove him will be through a fan revolt. On results so far, that won't be long in coming.

You can only stretch loyalty so far. Wenger has maxed out his "credit" ( goodwill ) card. The only thing he has left to borrow, is time. And he's been living off that for far too long.

Man Utd. Killa @ 2:11 - " Do these fools even want us to win a trophy at all " ?
Are you talking about the board, or A.K.B.'s ? One and the same, I suppose.

Solid points Spectrum...try as I have I can't fathom why Wenger persists with players like Traore,Gibbs(to a lesser extent), rosicknote,diaby,djourou,...list goes on..most of our first team players won't make the first team of our biggest rivals...let's just say we don't have the financial muscle but at least 5 world class first teamers is a must yet it has suddenly become like a luxury for us...I hope through Sunday's results lessons will be learned...namely the dead wood sold,Gunner-caliber players brought in and playing style tweaked...but it probably ain't Gunner happen....with only a day left...and by the way Cesc is doing great...am happy for the kid.

    Nice bank holiday weekend :(

Actually found this easier to deal with than some of the narrower defeats or frustrating draws. No option but to draw a line under it and move on. No use agonizing over it. We were well beaten. Consign it to history.

Speaking of history, remember when we got thrashed 6-1 at Old Trafford with Igor Stepanovs at the centre of the defence? That sent a clear signal that something was wrong, and then the following season we won the league at Old Trafford. Two years later we were Invincible. That puts the 6-1 defeat in context as a blip rather than a crisis. Hopefully the coming months and years will do the same this time around.

Traore's gone to QPR and we should have the Brazilian left back from the Turks signed pretty soon. You might not like our manager but how does a great manager become rubbish (as you've said) over night? We've only had problems since our move to the Emirates. Its only since we've not had money to spend that we've struggled and our manager hasn't done as well as once he did. Those things are no coinsidence!

Re Djourou a TA he might not be but............
Good center halves and centre backs always come in pairs. Put a quick young CB with another quality CB or preferably a Ch for a proper partnership to develope (Sol& Toure) and the results might surprise! Last season Djourou with Kosh wasn't a bad duo. Each one in the partnership has a different role to fulfill its only a problem when they both only do the same thing at the same time. Even Squilla paired with Vermaeling last year wasn't bad check the stats. Because they both had their roles to play.

Yet another know nothing comment from Sectrum Richard Law Kroenke's transfer negociator signed OC and paid over the odds Arsene Wenger wasn't at those negociations. Call a Shovel a Spade if you want but when your looking at a Hoe lets call it a Hoe eh?

Thanks for the comments guys! This is just how I felt at the time. But the new signings and how our players have played for their national side has given me lots of optimism!
